Jonathan Christian Davis born on February 27, 2002 . Davis’ father played a basketball as a professional for 13 seasons, including in the National Basketball Association. His twin brother Jordan plays Wisconsin in college basketball and football teammate in high school. Prior in the NBA Draft Davis’ appeared in the Taco Bell commercial for promoting the brand.
Davis attend the school and played basketball for La Crosse Central High School in Wisconsin. He won as Division 2 title as a freshman. His averaged 23 points and nine rebounds per game earning as Player of the Year honors. As a senior 27.4 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. He was named as Mr. Basketball in Wisconsin and repeated as a Player of the Year. David also played football as a quarterback in the same school and won an award as most outstanding senior quarterback.
As a freshman in college he came off on the bench averaging seven points and 4.1 rebounds per game while leading team with 34 steals. Davis scored 30 points in a 65-63 in Houston on November 23, 2021. As a sophomore his average scored 19.7 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. He was named as Big Ten Player of the Year. On March 2022 Johnny Davis declared in the NBA draft for remaining college eligibility.
In his National Team Career. Davis represented United States at the 2021 FIBA Under 19 World Cup. He average 4.1 points per game and help team to win gold medal.
After hearing his name called in the Draft night, Davis dress in salmon-colored suit he just make sure to dap up with his twin brother Jordan before walking up in the stage to shake the Commissioner Adam Silver’s hand.
Davis has a bright future in NBA, and Washington Wizards fans are lucky hey will have a seat to watch this young man’s development career as a professional basketball player.
